A series of six legislative meetings attended by 30 legislators and 102 agents were held this fall by
the Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia in Augusta, Macon, Savannah. Marietta, Gwinnett County and Valdosta.
IIAG is planning a series of six spring legislative meetings and is now in the process of firming up the dates and places.
The fall legislative program was presented by Gould Hagler, IIAG executive director. A series of events and meetings were attended by executive committee members and area agents.
“We find that it is best to have these events back home, away from the pressures of the Capitol during the session,” Hagler explained. “We make sure to get legislators together with the agents that count the most, the ones who live and vote in their districts.”
