Air France announced it would compensate relatives of all 113 people who perished as a result of the July 25 crash of a Concorde aircraft near Paris. The airline’s Deputy Managing Director Philippe Calavia said that the company’s insurers would compensate relatives of the crash victims according to international law, Reuters news service reported. Calavia indicated that the families of four victims who were killed on the ground would also receive compensation. The airline reportedly has received about $30 million from insurance companies for the loss of Concorde.
