Some New Hampshire communities are cleaning up after a fast-moving thunderstorm downed trees and power lines.
One of the harder-hit towns was Hopkinton. WMUR-TV reports over 40 percent of the town’s residents were without power at one point. That was down to about 18 percent on Wednesday morning.
At one point, over 20,000 customers in the state had no power. Most had gotten it back Wednesday.
Crews were out assessing damage and trying to clear roads following the storm Tuesday night, which was fueled by 60 mph winds.
