The Sullivan Group has hired David Marceau as vice president of its reinsurance division, GJS Re. He will be located in the firm’s Essex, Conn., office.
Marceau has more than 13 years experience in the insurance/reinsurance business, beginning his career with Marsh & McLennan Companies. During the past eight years he has held a reinsurance brokering position with Guy Carpenter, a global risk and reinsurance intermediary division of Marsh & McLennan.
Established in 1980, GJS Re is the reinsurance intermediary arm of the Sullivan Group, a privately held insurance brokerage, underwriting and intermediary operation based in Los Angeles.
GJS Re is a national program and specialty reinsurance intermediary providing consulting, market connections and reinsurance to program managers and issuing carriers. GJS Re Facultative provides creative and competitive property facultative/program reinsurance to select insurance company clients on a nationwide basis.
