Heffernan Insurance Brokers recently hired Brody Fontaine to join its New York office as group benefits advisor. Fontaine will focus on building the benefits practice for Heffernan, focusing on mid-size employers.
Fontaine is a former account executive with experience in benefits, client retention and sales.
Victor Fonseca, executive vice president and branch manager, remarked, “We look to him to manage and grow existing accounts and also expand our benefits clientele as we build our brand in New York.”
Headquartered in Walnut Creek, Calif., Heffernan Insurance Brokers has offices in San Francisco, Petaluma, Menlo Park, Los Angeles and Orange County, Calif.; Portland, Ore.; St. Louis, Mo., and New York, N.Y. The firm was ranked 13th in Insurance Journal‘s 2013 list of top privately-held property/casualty insurance agencies in the U.S.
