Global Excess Partners, a managing general agent, has hired Liz Carmody as senior vice president. She is based in New York City.
Carmody will assist in managing the firm’s large property and mid-market accounts. In addition to managing property accounts, Carmody will also handle standalone terrorism and excess flood policies.
Carmody brings more than 30 years of industry experience to her new role. She most recently served as manufacturing and communications executive at AIG, overseeing AIG’s Global Property Manufacturing book of business. Previously, she managed the Technical Lines Property business in the U.S. and Canada at Lexington Insurance Company.
Global Excess Partners, a member of Kaufman Financial Group, is a managing general agent with full coverholding binding authority on behalf of major Lloyd’s syndicates and international and domestic company markets.
