Satellite Agency Network (SAN) Group Inc., an alliance of independent insurance agencies in the Northeast, has hired Cindy Prouty as regional vice president of Eastern Massachusetts.
In this position, Prouty is responsible for membership service, development, and insurance company relations for all SAN Group member agencies in Eastern Massachusetts.
Prouty has a 30-year background in the insurance industry, including managing business and marketing development with Concord Group, EBI, and others within the state of Massachusetts.
Prior to joining SAN Group, Prouty was regional sales manager of Nationwide Insurance and Financial Services for the states of Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire. In this role, she was responsible for strategic business planning and developing marketing strategies for 20 Nationwide offices, as well as the recruitment and coaching of the sales team. Additional responsibilities included monitoring sales goals and budget management.
Prouty is licensed in life, health, casualty and property, and holds Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) series 6, 63 and 26 licenses.
SAN Group is an alliance of independent agencies in the Northeast. Over 330 members write in excess of $545 million of total in-force premium.
