SterlingRisk Insurance, an independently owned insurance brokerage based in New York, has hired Katrina Wu as assistant production Underwriter. A licensed property & casualty broker and licensed life, accident & health broker, Wu is currently focused on commercial insurance and environmental/pollution liability. She will be based out of its New York office.

Wu comes to SterlingRisk from HUB International Northeast Ltd., where she served as an assistant account executive, quoting and binding policies and corresponding daily with insureds and carriers.
Prior to joining HUB International in August 2017 she served in operations and as an assistant underwriter for three years at Morstan General Agency in Manhasset, N.Y.
Founded in 1932, SterlingRisk employs more than 220 insurance professionals, with offices in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, California and Indiana.
