Arch Reinsurance Ltd., a subsidiary of Arch Capital Group Ltd., announced the appointment of Dr. Riccardo Nicolini as European Marketing Representative based in Trieste, Italy. His role will be to “develop the European property, casualty and specialty market for Arch Reinsurance Ltd.” and to “assist in the servicing of continental European clients.”
The bulletin noted that “Dr. Nicolini has worked with the Generali Group for more than 38 years in various roles in the property, casualty and reinsurance areas in Europe, South America and the United States.”
Arch Re President Dwight Evans commented, “We are excited about expanding our presence in the European marketplace. We see this as an important step in expanding our strategic partnerships in continental Europe at a time when there are changes taking place in this important marketplace. With its experienced underwriting team, our company has a unique opportunity to develop close and lasting partnerships with leading continental European property and casualty insurers.”
