Bermuda-based Ironshore Inc. announced that Ronald A. Sandler has been elected to its Board of Directors.
He brings “many years of global financial services experience” to Ironshore from the London insurance market, where he served as Chief Executive Officer of Lloyd’s from 1995 to 1999). He has also held senior positions with National Westminster Bank plc, Exco plc, Martin Bierbaum Group plc, Booz Allen & Hamilton, Inc. and Boston Consulting Group, Inc. He is currently a director of Fortis, Computacenter plc and several private companies.
Ironshore’s CEO Robert V. Deutsch expressed his delight that Sandler “has chosen to share his considerable experience in the international insurance marketplace as a member of our Board. His previous leadership at Lloyd’s in particular, and in financial services more broadly, will certainly serve us well.”
