The bulletin said: “Following a decision by Alinter, the international arm of Mexican insurance and services specialist Grupo CP, to focus on local market growth its Group Chairman, Juan Ign谩cio Casanueva, has resigned from the BrokersLink board.
“As a result his responsibilities in Latin America have been assumed by existing board member and region specialist Steve Jackson,” the CEO of Latin America for Cooper Gay & Co. He will also continue to lead BrokersLink’s reinsurance activities.
Jos茅 Fonseca, BrokersLink’s Chairman for Latin American market, commented: “The decision to reorganize our representation in Latin America was made jointly by BrokersLink and Grupo CP as a result of the clear recognition that, at this point in time, both organizations are following different strategic directions. “By handing the representation of the region to Steve Jackson we look forward to continued growth and development in the key Latin American market.”
