David Thomas has joined the board of Miller Insurance Services LLP (Miller) with immediate effect.
The appointment follows the completion of Willis Group Holdings’ investment in Miller to form the leading specialist broker in the London wholesale market.
“I am very much looking forward to working closely with David to drive the strategy of our unique partnership”, commented Graham Clarke, chief executive of Miller.
David Thomas started his insurance career in 1980 specializing in London Market and North American reinsurance. He became chief executive of RK Carvill in 2004 until the company became part of the Willis Group in 2009.
At Willis Limited his current responsibilities include corporate strategy and mergers & acquisitions.
