Commerce Commissioner Jim Bernstein announced a pair of appointments to the Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Insurers’ Association board of directors. Each will begin their term on March 15 and serve until March 14, 2004. The new appointments are Gary Thaden of St. Paul and Brandon Miller of North St. Paul.
The Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Insurers Association is a non-profit corporation licensed by the State of Minnesota as a Data Service Organization. Minnesota law requires that insurers doing business in the state belong to a Data Service Organization. MWCIA also provides underwriting and related services on behalf of the Minnesota Assigned Risk Plan.
