Columbus, Ohio-based brokerage and risk-management firm announced the appointment of central Ohio’s James R. Hackbarth as CEO. Hackbarth takes the helm immediately.
Hackbarth brings to Assurex Global extensive experience in all phases of management including business planning, acquisitions, joint ventures, revenue generation strategic alliances, product development, and international sales and marketing. Boasting a solid track record in technology, Hackbarth most recently served as CEO of Columbus-based Cornerstone Partners, the high-tech consulting and executive recruiting firm he founded in 1996. Previously, Hackbarth held executive positions with the international software company Information Dimensions, as well as Agency Management Services, Leader Systems, Policy Management Systems, and IBM.
