A supermarket chain in St. Louis, Mo., is pulling its brand of French style green beans from the shelves of more than 100 stores in several states, including Wisconsin, because of concerns about possible contamination.
Schnucks, with stores primarily in the St. Louis area and across the Midwest, said it was recalling Schnucks Blue Lake French Style Green Beans from all Schnucks and Logli stores.
The company said a batch of green beans might have been undercooked and could be contaminated with harmful organisms.
Customers in Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, Mississippi and Iowa can return the green beans to their local stores for a refund, the company said. No other products are involved in the recall.
