International Excess, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, has launched a new division dedicated to crop, farm and livestock insurance.
Chuck Gabel, divisional vice president of International Excess Agribusiness, has specialized in crop insurance and farm insurance for more than 20 years. Gabel also has experience managing his family’s farm operation, while at the same time sitting on the board of a local farmer’s mutual insurance carrier.
Marc Pender, COO of International Excess said, “This new Agribusiness division allows agents access to a true agriculture insurance specialist. Retail agents can now not only write farms and crop insurance but will now have the expertise to grow an entire book of agriculture insurance business.”
International Excess has a focus on specialty insurance products, surplus lines and program management.
