Sedgwick Claims Management Services Inc. announced the planned opening of two new Midwest service centers, located in New Albany, Ohio, and Coralville, Iowa.
The Coralville location is contingent on the approval of available job training and economic development incentives by the Iowa Economic Development Authority and the City of Coralville.
Sedgwick anticipates hiring approximately 200 people at each location over the next 24 months. Nearly 60 employees in each location are expected to be hired before the offices become operational in January 2013.
Job opportunities available at the service centers will include customer service representatives, disability claims specialists, leave specialists, nurse case managers, and management, technical and support roles. Additional positions will be added at both locations throughout 2013.
Recruitment for the new positions will begin immediately, with a target start date in November for training purposes, the company said.
Sedgwick currently operates 15 offices throughout Ohio and four offices in Iowa.
