Missouri-based POWERS Insurance and Benefits and Valley Insurance Agency Alliance (VIAA) named Brien Pidgeon as chief operating officer.
Pidgeon is a seasoned C-Level executive with experience in both the public and private financial service industries. He has been credited with the dramatic growth of multiple companies throughout his career. Pidgeon recently relocated back to St. Louis after a 24-year absence.
Founded in 1991, POWERS Insurance and Benefits provides personal and business insurance, surety, risk management and employee benefits.
Founded in 2006, VIAA generates more than $125 million in written premium and is the regional founding member in Missouri and Southern Illinois for the Strategic Insurance Agency Alliance (SIAA), a $6 billion national insurance coalition.
Both companies are located at 7745 Carondelet Ave. in St. Louis, Mo.
