Ohio Insurance Agents Association (OIA) has presented Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America’s Ron Berg with its Industry Citation Award.
Berg has served as executive director of the Big “I” Agents Council for Technology (ACT) since 2013 and in that time has worked with independent agents, insurance carriers and insurtech companies to advance the use of technology in the industry.
Through his work with ACT, Berg collaborates with key groups to improve agent workflows and encourage the strategic implementation of technology that makes agents more effective and improves the customer experience in the industry.
OIA thanked Berg for his outstanding leadership in the independent agency channel and his efforts to advance the use of effective business processes, practices and technologies for the success of independent agents and insurance consumers.
The OIA honored Berg at its annual holiday dinner and awards ceremony in Columbus.
