As many as six companies are considering a bid for parts of Aetna now that talks between the U.S.’s largest health insurer and Dutch insurance giant ING have broken down. Though ING appears to still have an interest in buying Aetna’s international and financial operations, Aetna has reportedly answered preliminary interest probes from AIG, Allianz AG, Aegon and Citigroup.
