CNA Re has introduced smartfac, a new Web-enabled facultative submission system facilitating property and casualty facultative submissions via the Internet.
Property and casualty underwriters can use the smartfac system to forward property and inland marine, auto liability, general liability and umbrella liability submissions to CNA Re underwriters, as well as to other selected markets or individuals. The smartfac Web application allows users to submit, bind, endorse and review facultative activities online with CNA Re.
The Activity Summary feature keeps submission information in one place for smartfac users, allowing them to easily retrieve status and other account information, reducing the time underwriters traditionally spend organizing paper submission records.
In addition to the risk submission function, the smartfac Web site provides insurance news, underwriting links and tools, as well as other valuable information through a unique feature called the smartfac remote control. This remote control can be accessed throughout the CNA Re smartfac site. For more information on smartfac, visit the Web site at www.smartfac.com.
