INSpire Insurance Solutions, a provider of property and casualty outsourcing and software services, announced that that it has reached settlement in its suit against Motors Insurance Corporation (MIC) and General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC). Although specific financial terms of the settlement are confidential, INSpire stated it is pleased with the terms of the settlement.
The lawsuit was filed by INSpire in February 2001 in federal court in South Carolina. In the suit, INSpire claimed that MIC did not pay INSpire for software services provided by INSpire. Under the terms of the settlement, all claims by all parties were successfully resolved and the lawsuit will be dismissed.
