announced the appointment of Christopher A. Taylor as president of the Financial Enterprises profit center. In this capacity, Taylor will lead efforts to further strengthen the company’s position in the financial institution and related financial services industry.
In his previous position as senior vice president for Zurich’s Financial Enterprises Target Markets group, Taylor was responsible for sales, distribution and business development. He joined that group at the end of 1994 as regional vice president for the Chesapeake region. Previously, he had 17 years experience in the insurance industry and held a number of management and leadership positions in underwriting, marketing and sales.
A native of Baltimore, Taylor earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland and holds an MBA from Loyola College. In addition, he studied advanced business concepts at both Columbia University and the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
