Lexington Insurance Co., a Chartis company, has introduced CarbonCover Design & Confirm. The enhancements broaden its architects’ and engineers’ professional liability insurance policy in response to claims arising from greenhouse gas consulting and emission reduction verification services. The claims-made policy pays monetary damages, settlements and defense costs for covered claims alleging wrongful acts in connection with these activities.
CarbonCover Design & Confirm is the latest addition to Lexington Insurance Co.’s CarbonCover suite of products for companies operating in the climate change and greenhouse gas emissions sector. The suite also includes CarbonCover Registry, which provides liability insurance for carbon registries.
