Neace Lukens, a national full-service private insurance broker, has expanded its insurance product lines to include a new specialty insurance service for companies in the life sciences industry. This new division will provide comprehensive insurance services for companies that manufacture, manage or research products and services that are regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which include medical device manufacturers, contract research organizations, pharmaceutical companies, vaccines, blood and biologics organizations, biotechnology firms and manufacturers of radiation emitting products.
“Customers in the life sciences industry require detailed expertise not readily available from traditional insurance agents,” says John Neace, chairman of Neace Lukens. “We are seeing more and more FDA-regulated organizations on the horizon in need of counsel on the topic of risk management.”
Neace Lukens Life Sciences agents will implement risk management strategies and provide insurance services that will help predict insurance risks and costs over the life cycle of a company. The Life Sciences division of Neace Lukens will operate out of its Cleveland, Ohio office.
