Towers Watson has named Darrell Comis, senior vice president, and David J. Albert, vice president, in its Reinsurance Brokerage business.
Comis, based in the company’s Stamford, Conn. offices, will be responsible for facultative market strategies. Before joining Towers Watson, Comis was an executive vice president at Aon Benfield. Prior to Aon Benfield, he was with Guy Carpenter, First Capital Group and Minet Insurance Brokers.
Albert, who will be located in San Francisco, will assist Western region clients and develop new business in the area. Albert comes to Towers Watson from Willis Re Inc., where he was a vice president. Albert has also held posts with the former Benfield Inc., Gen3 Partners and Morgan Stanley.
