Chartis will enter into a contractual agreement with NYA International Limited (NYA), a kidnap and extortion response consultancy. Beginning December 1, 2011, NYA will be responsible for providing kidnap, extortion, malicious product tampering and maritime piracy consultancy services to the Chartis insurers’ crisis management policyholders.
NYA provides crisis management response and advice to clients facing incidents of kidnap and extortion, piracy and international emergency problems. NYA’s team of consultants have managed over 350 response cases in many parts of the world including, but not limited to, Latin America, Asia, Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
