Kevin Koehler has joined OneBeacon Insurance Group as president of its new Financial Institutions business unit.
In this new role, Koehler will lead a specialty team focused on professional liability, management liability and fidelity coverages targeting all classes of financial institutions including money center banks, insurance companies, asset management, security broker dealers/captive agents, real estate investment trusts, venture capital/private equity and insurance agents and brokers.
Koehler has 22 years of professional liability experience focused on the financial institutions sector, most recently serving as vice president of this segment for Everest National Insurance Co. He previously spent 15 years with AIG’s Financial Institutions Professional Liability Group.
He will be reporting to John Iannotti, president of Professional Liability.
OneBeacon said that its Financial Services division, led by Craig Collins, will continue to provide professional liability coverages for community banks and property/casualty coverages for financial services customers.
