Atlanta-based Beecher Carlson Insurance Services has expanded its National Casualty Practice leadership team, creating a new innovation chief position and appointing a new practice leader.
Sharon Brainard will take on the newly created role of chief innovation director for National Casualty. She will continue to be an executive managing director of Beecher Carlson. In her new role, Brainard will work with internal and external resources, including carrier partners and other third party vendors, to promote joint innovative efforts; train employees on new products and skills, and leverage technology to streamline work processes and delivery of actuarial and analytics capabilities to Beecher Carlson clients.
Brainard will also continue to work with a number of Beecher Carlson’s clients.
Brad Darr will assume the role of National Casualty practice leader, continuing as executive managing director of Beecher Carlson. He will be responsible for leading the casualty brokerage and client service teams for Beecher Carlson throughout the United States. Darr will work out of the Atlanta office with regional casualty leaders including Joe Roberta in the Northeast, Evan Hessel in the West and Scott Buchholz in the Southeast reporting to him.
Brainard and Darr will continue to report to Scott Davis, Beecher Carlson’s president of Property and Casualty.
