Last year’s Young Agents Survey revealed a decline in optimism among young agents from 2022 to 2023.
When it came to career choice and the future of the independent agency system, 53.9% of young agents responding to last year’s survey reported they felt “very optimistic” about the outlook of their career, which was down from 62.4% of respondents who felt “very optimistic” in the 2022 survey. Last year’s survey also revealed that nearly one-third of young agents (30.9%) didn’t feel optimistic at all about 2023’s US economy.
