U.S.I. Holdings Corporation announced the acquisition of substantially all the operating assets of Houston-based The Benefits Team (TBT).

TBT has been providing employee benefits to middle market clients since 1996. USI said TBT’s expertise with institutional clients and other niches will create additional depth and scale in USI’s existing employee benefit practice in Houston.

TBT will be integrated with USI’s existing Houston operation and is expected to contribute approximately $2 million of revenues to USI over the next twelve months.
