Dr. Robert Hartwig, president-elect and chief economist for the Insurance Information Institute is scheduled to speak in January at a public policy forum hosted by Southwestern Insurance Information Service.
SIIS announced that the forum would take place Jan. 18, 2007, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Omni Hotel, 700 San Jacinto in Austin, Texas.
Dr. Hartwig’s presentation, “Trends/Challenges in Property/Casualty Insurance,” will focus on economic and market conditions affecting the insurance industry in the U. S. and Texas.
The forum has been certified by the Texas Department of Insurance for 1.5 hours of C. E. credits.
