Andrew C. “Drew” Apperson was recently installed as president of the Alamo Chapter, Society of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters, in San Antonio, Texas. He received his CPCU designation in 1993 and also holds the CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) and CRM (Certified Risk Manager) designations.
Aperson is the managing partner of the San Antonio office of Willis. He relocated to San Antonio in 2004 to assume this leadership role. Prior to joining Willis in 1994, Apperson had more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry.
Apperson is a board member of the Independent Insurance Agents of San Antonio (IIASA) and an active associate member of the South Texas Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS). He also participates in numerous advisory councils for insurance carriers.

- Secretary Traci Thaxton of Nationwide Insurance; and
- Treasurer Shirley Colyer of Castle Insurance Agency.
