TDECU Insurance Agency LLC announced the acquisition of Associated Insurance Agency Inc. (AIA) based in Houston, Texas. The purchase was finalized Jan. 3, 2012.
Associated Insurance Agency is an independent insurance agency that has served the Houston business community for 17 years. It currently represents more than 15 nationally recognized carriers, which will complement TDECU Insurance Agency’s current carriers.
Associated Insurance Advisors will continue to office in its current location at 7676 Hillmont in Houston.
TDECU Insurance Agency, headquartered in Lake Jackson, Texas, expects to continue growing market share in southeast Texas with TDECU’s recent acquisition of two Houston-based credit unions.
TDECU Insurance Agency is a subsidiary of Texas Dow Employees Credit Union.
