Swingle Collins & Associates announced the appointment of Dan Curtis as President. Curtis will continue to foster a culture of growth and exceptional insurance services as he succeeds former president Mac Wesson, who will remain with the agency in a production capacity.
Curtis joins Swingle Collins from TriumphPay, where he served as COO of the open payments network for freight brokers, factors, shippers, and carriers in the trucking industry. Prior to TriumphPay, he was President & CEO of BNSF Logistics, a multi-modal transportation leader in the logistics space. Curtis has also held senior financial leadership roles at Greatwide Logistics Services and has been involved in strategic roles at Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst, and Ernst &Young.
As president, Curtis will focus on further elevating Swingle Collins’ standing within the commercial, personal insurance, and employee benefits industries, helping clients navigate an increasingly complex landscape. His experience in mergers and acquisitions will also be pivotal in helping clients seize new opportunities while encouraging the most impactful insurance solutions for their unique situations, the agency said.
