A fire caused by an explosion at a Miami marina has damaged two boats, and authorities say no one was hurt.
The Miami Herald reports that firefighters responded to C&F Marine around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday and brought the fire under control in 30 minutes.
A 24-foot (7-meter) boat on the water that was covered in flames when firefighters arrived was scorched, according to Miami Fire Rescue Capt. Ignatius Carroll. A docked 50-foot (15-meter) tour boat that had been burning sustained smoke damage.
The cause of the explosion and fire is under investigation.
C&F Marine, the location where firefighters were dispatched, is a boat supply and repair business located on the water. It’s unclear if the store was damaged.
