Hub International Limited has acquired the assets of Barnett Corporate Insurers, LLC (or The Barnett Group). Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Headquartered in Memphis, Tenn., The Barnett Group provides employee benefits for more than 75,000 individuals. The company’s areas of expertise encompass the design, implementation and administration of insurance plans and wellness programs.
The Barnett Group has affiliations with more than 80 insurance carriers and third-party administrators.
According to Ed Barnett, founder and president of The Barnett Group, The Barnett Group staff will continue to service clients, who will receive guidance and service, as well as more retirement and benefit options.
The Barnett Group will join Hub Gulf South, headed by President Steve Terry, and will continue to operate under the leadership of Ed Barnett.
