Sacramento, Calif.-based InsWeb announced that it plans to report financial results for its fourth quarter and fiscal 2000 on Thurs., Feb 1., after the close of market. The company had originally scheduled to report its results on Jan. 25, but a conflicting schedule with its quarterly board of directors meeting resulted in a date change.
On Dec. 21, the provider of online insurance services raised its revenue outlook to approximately $5 million for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2000, and according to the company, that outlook remains unchanged. InsWeb attributes its higher-than-expected revenues to strong consumer traffic and to the continued geographic expansion among key auto insurance companies participating in InsWeb’s online marketplace, according to CEO Hussein Enan.
InsWeb will also host a conference call to discuss its quarterly results on Feb. 1 at 4:30 p.m. EST. Open to the public, a live webcast of the conference call will be accessible at the Investor Relations section of the company’s website, www.insweb.com/about/financial/investor.htm, and the webcast will be available for three months.
