Water intrusion/mold prevention and credit scoring are two of the topics to be examined at the 2002 Annual Insurance Symposium, sponsored by the NeighborWorks庐 National Insurance Task Force (NITF). The symposium will take place Aug. 7 at 9 a.m. at the Hilton San Francisco.
Highlights of the symposium will include:
鈥� Introduction of a water intrusion/mold prevention pilot, which will provide homeowner education on preventative measures against water intrusion that leads to household mold and provide grants and loans to low-income homeowners to make repairs and upgrades to their homes to guard against water intrusion.
鈥� Release of NITF’s report and recommendations on their experience on the issues with insurance scoring.
There will also be a commercial lines panel discussion on insurance challenges faced in multifamily housing.
