Washington’s Department of Labor and Industries (L&I) has added a fifth public hearing on its proposal to lower workers’ compensation rates by an average of 2 percent next year.
The hearing will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, at L&I’s Tukwila office, 12806 Gateway Drive. L&I also will take testimony at the hearing on changes in the way it calculates employers’ rates.
A final decision on 2007 workers’ compensation rates will be made Nov. 21.
