Okerlund, Sorensen & Leavitt Insurance Agency in Richfield, Utah, and Briggs-Yardley Leavitt Insurance Agency in Salina, Utah, have merged operations.
The combined agency’s managing principal is Cory Sorensen, and the agency will rebrand as Sorensen-Leavitt Insurance Agency. Debra Yardley is retiring as the managing owner, but will continue to assist both agencies for the next couple of years as a licensed agent, and Cena Rasmussen is now the office manager of the Salina location.
Both offices will remain in their same locations with the same phone numbers. The merger will not affect current accounts, and clients will continue to work with those service representatives with whom they are familiar, according to Leavitt.
Sorensen-Leavitt Insurance Agency is part of Leavitt Group, a privately-held insurance brokerage.
