Monterey, Calif.-based Capital Insurance Group has named Andy Doll president and CEO.
Doll will take the helm of CIG beginning Jan. 1, 2021. Doll currently serves as senior vice president and chief operating officer at CIG. The move follows the retirement of current President and CEO Arne Chatterton.
Doll has held positions across the insurance industry, beginning with actuarial and extending into other areas. It was the role of chief actuary that brought Doll to CIG in 2014. Doll was promoted to vice president and chief operating officer in 2016. In 2019, he was promoted to senior vice president.

Chatterton joined CIG in 2013 as vice president of field operations and business relations before being appointed president and CEO in 2014. During his 30 years in the property/casualty insurance industry, Chatterton has held a variety of positions, with his capstone role as president and CEO of CIG.
CIG is a P/C insurer offering agriculture, commercial, and personal coverage across Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon and Washington.
