Beecher Carlson Insurance Services LLC has named Laura Jeppson vice president.
Jeppson will report to Senior Vice President Brian Cushard and work out of the Woodland Hills, Calif. office. She will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with regional insurance executives and underwriters as well as implementing risk transfer tools for financial institutions.
Prior to Beecher Carlson, Jeppson was leading efforts to drive consumer adoption of Bitcoin and other virtual currencies through global insurance products and market capacity to protect companies and their customers operating in the Bitcoin/virtual currencies industries. Jeppson will be leveraging Beecher Carlson’s platform in efforts to provide expanded service and coverage to the Bitcoin industry.
Jeppson’s previous experience includes working in a global risk management unit of a large broker, where she managed programs for large cap public and private sector accounts.
